How do I register for an account?
Before you can purchase a dining certificate for half price, you need to register for an account. (It is FREE) Click on User Login located at the top of the page, then click on Register for a New Account. Enter your information in the fields, and then click on the Register button at the bottom. You will then be sent an e-mail, immediately, that you must accept the terms to. Once you accept the terms, it will direct you back to this page called the "Learn How It Works Page". You will then be allowed to purchase certificates for half price on DiningHalfOff.com.

Some fabulous deals our restaurants offer at DiningHalfOff.com are limited to (1) certificate per household. DiningHalfOff.com must RESTRICT ACCOUNTS TO ONLY ONE (1) PER HOUSEHOLD. We must restrict the number of accounts in order for us to be fair to our customers and restaurant owners.
We verify your accounts by cross checking all new registered users against all of our current customers. We cross check both the mailing address and the billing address. If your addresses match any current customers addresses, your order will be canceled, your credit card will be refunded and your account will be suspended. We must do this in order to be fair to everyone.
So in order to prevent this from happening, please make sure you only have one account per household. Once your account has been verified you will be able to print any certificates you have purchased.
How do I print Dining Certificates?
You must be a verified user in order to print. After we verify your account we will send you an email. (It doesn't take long.) Once your account has been verified you can print certificates directly from your My Account section. Just log in to your account and click on the PRINT button next to any of the certificates you have purchased. Again, Account Verification will only take place the very first time you make a purchase. From then on you can purchase and print immediately.
Can I open more than one account?
No. Sorry, the great deals at DiningHalfOff.com are RESTRICTED TO ONLY ONE (1) ACCOUNT PER HOUSEHOLD. We must restrict the number of accounts in order for us to be fair to our customers and restaurant owners. Please make sure you only have one account per household. Duplicate accounts will be inactivated. Once your account has been verified you will be able to print any certificates you have purchased.
I lost my Gift Certificate or I let it expire before I used it. Now what?
DiningHalfOff.com and participating restaurants are NOT RESPONSIBLE for lost, stolen, misplaced or expired certificates. Please treat your certificates, as you would cash! Put them in a safe place and make sure you use them before they expire! No exceptions!!
Do I have to pay a fee to use your service?
There is no fee to join DiningHalfOff.com. You will simply pay 50% of the face value for dining certificates, plus a 4% (minimum $0.99) transaction fee for processing your order.
What are the restrictions on the DiningHalfOff.com Dining Certificates ?
All restrictions are stated on the website and will be verified before making your purchase. They are also stated on your certificate. Each restaurant may have its own additional restrictions. We try to limit any additional restrictions, and most of the restaurants accept the certificates at any time.
How do I pay for the Certificates?
We accept online payments with MasterCard or VISA. Your privacy and security are of the utmost importance to us. DiningHalfOff.com is a secure and encrypted website. Please be assured that DiningHalfOff.com will not sell or give away any information about any of its customers.
How and when will I receive the Certificates?
You can choose to print your certificates right away, e-mail them to a friend or have them snail mailed (additional $2.00 shipping charge). We process snail mail orders daily and customers usually have their certificates within 1-4 days. They are mailed via US Postal Service.
What happens if I buy a Dining Certificate and the restaurant goes out of business before I am able to use it?
DiningHalfOff.com Certificates are designed for IMMEDIATE USE. But if a restaurant does go out of business before you have a chance to use your certificate, we will give you credit for your unused, unexpired certificate. We will send you an email if we are notified that a restaurant has closed. You must contact us within 30 days to receive credit for your unused, unexpired certificate. There is NO CREDIT FOR CLOSED RESTAURANTS AFTER 30 DAYS!
We strive to give the most current information available to our members as quickly as possible but should a restaurant goes out of business before we have contacted you, please contact info@dininghalfoff.com. To receive a credit for a closed restaurant within the first 30 days, please e-mail the request to info@dininghalf.com. Please include: your name, the restaurant name, your e-mail address, and the certificate number with all requests.
